QuoteGrade is a programmatic home-services cost estimator. We give homeowners a credible range for major projects — HVAC, roofing, windows, water heaters, furnaces, and solar — before they call a contractor.

What we believe

Cost ranges should be public. The data behind contractor pricing is already published in scattered places — cost indices, BLS wage data, ENERGY.gov references.
Local matters. A new roof in Houston costs meaningfully different than one in San Diego.
Honesty over flash. We say "estimates, not quotes." We earn revenue by connecting homeowners with contractor networks, not by inflating estimates.

How we make money

QuoteGrade is free to use. We earn referral fees when homeowners request quotes through matched contractor networks. Our cost ranges are not influenced by these relationships. See our methodology page for full disclosure.
